I thought UT would be able to put up points for simple reason that they’ve done it all year. Georgia absolutely rose to the occasion and shut them down. That was a dominant performance from start to finish. Hooker had a chance to solidify his grip on the Heitman with a good performance but he spent most of the day running for his life. The balls he did throw were too far or too high which was definitely uncharacteristic of him this season but I give the D a lot of credit for that. Still proud of how far the Vols have come in the past two years.
it's frustrating to see a player to quit 5 days into fall camp, if that's what has actually happened. teams have injuries. someone is going to mismanage a game. there's tons of opportunity to still there for him. but he's not willing to stay in there and fight for his chance. i wish him the best wherever he lands, i just wish he'd have the determination to keep fighting.
@senoiadawg, You're right. Peyton Manning never really did much in the NFL. Except for these 21 records that he owns. I'm more than happy to get a win but I'm surprised that no one has brought up the fact that if UK hadn't missed that extra point in the 1st quarter, all they would have needed was a FG to send the game to overtime. Even the announcers on the broadcast didn't bring it up. Usually announcers would hone in on that and make it a talking point the entire 4th quarter.
