G hasn't shown enough to keep the job. Yes the O - line is a weak link but G has shown ZERO playmaking ability. He consistently late on throws, rarely if ever throws anyone open. Just look how many negative plays he has this year! That's not all on the offensive line, just watch him when the pocket collapses, when he feels pressure he does not make good decisions. Remember the pic G threw near the goal line in the Florida game, everyone knows that was because he panicked - you can't risk an interception at that place on the field or at that point in the game. He does not handle pressure and continues to struggle with his reads. G is NOT the answer....let's give Chryst a chance, the Vols have absolutely nothing to lose, the Vols are getting better every week and you can see it on the field, but G is not making any strides.....he panics and that, I'm afraid is one of the hardest qualities for a good QB. If Chryst doesn't work out, go with Shrout, we've seen what G has to offer and if he continues to play like he has played, the Vols have one, maybe two possible wins....so why not see what the other guys can do.
