Dan Mullen’s staff will be going up against some familiar foes to land a talented in-state wide receiver’s commitment.

Jacksonville, Florida 4-star wide receiver Marcus Burke shared a top five of Florida, Miami, Penn State, Georgia Tech and Georgia on Sunday via a graphic posted on his Twitter account.

The list comes a week after Burke visited Gainesville for UF’s Junior Day recruiting event and named the Gators his leader, per 247Sports.

The Trinity Christian Academy standout is listed at 6-3, 180 and rated 4-stars, the No. 46 Florida product, No. 52 wide receiver and No. 301 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. He currently holds 17 scholarship offers, with the Penn State offer coming earlier this month (March 2). His highlights can be viewed below:

Florida has 14 commitments in its 2021 class, including two 4-star wide receivers: Trevonte Rucker and Daejon Reynolds. In their 2020 class, the Gators signed two 4-star high school wide receivers (Xzavier Henderson, Jaquavion Fraziers) and added transfers Justin Shorter (Penn State; 5-star class of 2018) and Jordan Pouncey (Texas; 3-star class of 2017). Four-star 2020 wide receiver Leonard Manuel remains verbally committed to UF, but has extended his recruitment and did not sign in February. Manuel visited Ole Miss in January.
