WATCH: Florida QB commit Anthony Richardson launches longest throw at The Opening
Florida QB commit Anthony Richardson has turned some heads this week at The Opening Finals in Texas.
Richardson is the prototypical Dan Mullen QB. He’s a dual-threat signal caller standing at 6-foot-4 and 224 pounds. He just happened to be in Florida’s backyard in Gainesville, too. He’s been committed to Florida twice, with the second time coming April 6, 2019.
The Gators commit is competing this week in The Opening Finals and the Elite 11 QB challenge, and he launched the longest throw among signal callers at 68.5 yards.

Richardson ranks as the nation’s No. 8 dual-threat QB and the No. 48 overall player in the state of Florida for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
