The 2020 recruiting cycle may not be finished just yet, Wednesday is National Signing Day for 2020 prospects, but that hasn’t stopped Dan Mullen and his Florida staff from working hard toward to ensure a great start to the program’s 2021 recruiting cycle.

Florida already held nine commitments in the 2021 recruiting cycle but now the Gators hold double-digit pledges in the class as Georgia receiver Daejon Reynolds announced his commitment to Mullen’s program on his 17th birthday.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Reynolds plays for Georgia high school powerhouse program Grayson and is rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 16 athlete in the nation for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Following this latest win for the Gators on the recruiting trail, Florida holds pledges from five four-star prospects in the 2021 class.

Reynolds picked the Gators over scholarship offers from Georgia, LSU, Auburn and Florida State. He is the first receiver in the 2021 recruiting cycle to join Florida’s class.
