Dan Mullen and Florida are struggling these days, and several opposing coaches have described how the program looks and reacts to losses throughout this season.

Bruce Feldman detailed in an expansive piece in The Athletic how there is a growing gap between Georgia and Florida, and why the Gators are going backwards.

“You look at them in warmups,” an SEC assistant told Feldman, “guys with their T-shirts hanging out. They look sloppy. A little too nonchalant, too rag-tag. They think they’re better than they are.”

Feldman pointed out that Mullen started 29-6 at Florida, but is 4-7 since. What’s more, Florida is 2-7 in its last 9 games against Power 5 opponents.

“They play with zero discipline,” another coach said. “They don’t play hard.”
