Back in 2008, the Florida Gators were gearing up for a big showdown against the LSU Tigers in Gainesville. To say fans were excited would be an understatement.

How crazy was it? During an event on Wednesday, new coach Dan Mullen recalled that it was enough to get legendary Florida QB Tim Tebow to drop an F-bomb.

Mullen spotted a former player in the crowd and then recounted the story, saying when Tebow dropped the F bomb, everyone knew the Gators were going to win (via 247Sports):

“Where’s Dorian? Dorian Munroe right here. I see Dorian in the back here, he played for us,” Mullen told the crowd, pointing out Munroe.

“I remember playing, we were playing in the 2008 season, right? 2008 we’re playing LSU, and to this day, we’re on the bus, getting ready to get off the bus and the Gator Walk is, I mean, out of control. Right? The bus is rocking.

“Tebow gets up on the bus, drops an ‘F’ bomb in front of the team. He will deny it until he dies. But I’m telling you what, I think we won by 40-something that night. The game was over before it ever started. By the time we finished the Gator Walk, the game was over. They had no shot.”

Tebow probably won’t be happy with Mullen sharing that story, but Mullen is digging into his well of stories about the former Gator lefty, and fans are loving it.
