The Florida Gators have been a resurgent team under new coach Dan Mullen this year, and are currently No. 9 in the AP Poll.

However, tough games remain on the schedule, including games against Georgia, Mizzou, South Carolina and Florida State.

After Week 8’s action, ESPN’s FPI updated the Gators’ chances to win each remaining game. According to the projections, the Gators only have a 30.2-percent chance to beat the Dawgs next weekend, but every other game, they’ll be favored to win:

  • vs. Georgia (in Jacksonville) — 30.2%
  • vs. Missouri — 78.6%
  • vs. South Carolina — 76.8%
  • vs. Idaho — 99.1%
  • at Florida State — 74.5%

Saturday’s game will be the most important game on the schedule, obviously, but even if Florida loses, the rebuild under Mullen is still way ahead of schedule.

Now, we just have to wait to see how the Gators fare in The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party on Saturday.
