Feleipe Franks has been a consistent supporter of the Florida football program even after he suffered a serious leg injury at Kentucky last month.

That was never more the case than after the 24-13 win against Auburn as Florida players celebrated on the field at The Swamp. Franks, on his scooter following surgery last week, especially enjoyed the post-game with WR Freddie Swain. Franks clapped repeatedly and grabbed Swain in for a hug, and then clapped again.

Swain, who caught 6 passes for 146 yards, including a 64-yard touchdown.

Florida relied heavily on its defense, but the Gators also hit on several big plays in the win as the Gators led 17-13, and after a slugfest of a third quarter, got an 88-yard touchdown run from Lamical Perine early in the fourth quarter.

It doesn’t get any easier for Florida as the Gators travel to No. 5 LSU next week. The Tigers have won four of the last six and six of the last nine in the series.
