Florida edge rusher enters NCAA transfer portal, per report
Another Florida edge rusher has reportedly decided to look at his transfer options. Blake Alderman of Swamp247 is reporting that Lloyd Summerall has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
A 4-star recruit out of Lakeland (Florida), Summerall signed with UF as part of the 2019 recruiting class. Over the last 3 seasons, Summerall played in 16 games for the Gators, including 11 in 2021. He totaled 8 tackles, including 2 for loss and 1.5 sacks, in those appearances.
Summerall’s father memorably went viral during his son’s recruitment for wearing the uniform during a visit to Gainesville.
We all had jokes about this dad. But it’s actually a cool story. Well done. ‘I wanted to match my son’: Lloyd Summerall III’s father gets a taste of Florida recruiting, too – The Athletic https://t.co/kmVDUl9iVx

Summerall’s decision to enter the portal comes a day after fellow former 4-star edge rusher Khris Bogle entered his name in the portal.
