The Florida Gators have gotten off to a bit of a slow start with their 2019 recruiting class, but on Monday night, they landed a big piece for the class.

That’s because 4-star CB Chester Kimbrough, a New Orleans native, committed to coach Dan Mullen and the Gators.

As you can see below, Kimbrough announced his decision via Twitter on Monday night:

According to the 247Sports composite, Kimbrough is the No. 34 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 15 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.

The Gators now have 12 players in their 2019 class, which currently ranks No. 11 in the SEC and No. 28 nationally, per 247Sports.
