The Florida linebacking corps is losing leading tackler Vosean Joseph to the 2019 NFL Draft, and many wondered if fellow junior David Reese would follow suit.

On Saturday, Reese made his decision, and it’s one that will make Gator fans happy on a day where key players like Jabari Zuniga, Van Jefferson and Lamical Perine have already announced they’ll return to school.

As you can see in the tweet below, Reese will join those teammates and has decided to return for his senior season:

Reese finished the 2018 season with 81 tackles, 2.5 of which were for a loss. He’s a great run-stuffing linebacker and can hold his own in coverage, too.

He’ll be counted on to lead the Gator linebackers next year with Joseph heading off to the NFL.
