The Florida contingent is still in Fort Collins, Colo., meeting with Colorado State head coach Jim McElwain as the two parties work to negotiate a deal to bring McElwain down to Gainesville as Florida’s next head coach.

Wednesday afternoon, the Gators released a statement about their discussions with McElwain via their official Twitter account.

It was reported by OnlyGators.com earlier in the afternoon that the plane which initially brought Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley and other UF officials to Colorado will be leaving around 4 p.m. ET and return back to Gainesville later Wednesday night.

At this time, it is not clear whether McElwain will join Foley and the others on the plane back to Florida.
