Florida State received a $100 million from the Jim Moran Foundation to open the nation’s largest interdisciplinary and degree-granting school of entrepreneurship this week.

That seemed like a good opportunity to remind the rival Florida Gators of how great things are going for the Seminoles.

When a reporter asked Florida State president John Thrasher if he would call his counterpart at Florida about what is believed to be the largest donation in Florida history, the chance to gloat again at Florida’s expense was too much to pass up:

Ouch.

The Seminoles went to Gainesville and essentially shutout the Gators’ offense for a 27-2 win. It was the fewest points Florida had scored in the series began in 1958.

So this is just more salt in the wound for Gators fans.
