After two seasons at Florida, Chester Kimbrough is off to the Big Ten.

Kimbrough, who entered the transfer portal in December, announced his commitment to Michigan State on his Instagram account Friday night.

“I plan on taking my talent to Michigan State, they got a good program over there, they produce a lot of DBs, a lot of athletes period,” Kimbrough said in a video post. “I like competition period, so Michigan State’s where it’s at.”

Kimbrough appeared in 17 games over the last two seasons. He recorded 15 total tackles and 3 passes defended.

From New Orleans, the Warren Easton product was rated 3-stars, the No. 19 recruit in Louisiana, No. 45 cornerback and No. 452 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. He chose UF over 22 other offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri and Ole Miss.
