Florida officially announces four-year contract extension of Florida State series
One of the best football rivalries in the nation isn’t going anywhere.
Florida officially announced its annual rivalry with Florida State will live on for at least four more seasons as the two programs have agreed to terms to continue the end of the season game until 2022. The Gators beat the Seminoles 41-14 in Tallahassee last season.
Florida leads the series against FSU with a 35-26-2 record.
Based on the release from Florida, FSU’s upcoming Nov. 30 trip to Gainesville for the 2019 season had not been finalized until now.
The #Gators & #Seminoles have reached a four-year contract extension that will keep its storied rivalry on the gridiron intact through the 2022 football season.
