Izaiah Williams will be making a drive up I-75 to play college football. The blue-chip wideout from Tampa announced Friday that he has committed to Florida.

Williams shared the big news on his Twitter account.

The Gators are the most recent team to offer Williams a scholarship. Billy Napier’s staff extended an offer on March 23, according to Williams. He also reports scholarship offers from 26 other schools, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Williams is listed at 6-feet, 172 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Williams is rated 4-stars, the No. 48 wide receiver, No. 51 Sunshine State recruit and No. 325 prospect overall in the Class of 2024. With Williams on board, UF now has 8 commitments in its 2024 recruiting class.

Williams, who also runs track, missed time at Carrollwood Day in 2022 with a collarbone injury. His Hudl page includes a highlight reel from his 2021 sophomore season at Wiregrass Ranch in nearby Wesley Chapel. Williams’ 2021 highlights can be viewed below:
