What Jim McElwain said about Treon Harris, Jalen Tabor's suspensions vs. Vols
Florida coach Jim McElwain isn’t calling it a suspension by definition, but quarterback Treon Harris and cornerback Jalen Tabor won’t play in Saturday’s game against Tennessee.
McElwain said the players made ‘choices’ that have affected their availability after Wednesday’s practice and that both would be back next week.
In other words, Harris and Tabor have been suspended for a violation of team rules:
McElwain corrects, "They're not suspensions, they made choice. Not angry at them. They made a choice to do whatever." #Gators

“It hurts because we got a lot of guys that really care about this team. You know what — some other guys will step up and play.’’ — Mac

'I'm not angry at them at all. It's a choice. Obviously, it hurts. We have a lot of guys that care about this team,' Mac said.
