After a huge recruiting weekend with the Friday Night Lights camp, the Gators started off this week another pledge.

Florida’s latest commitment, No. 14 for the 2018 class, comes from 3-star WR Tyquan Thornton. The Booker T. Washington (Miami) product had recently revealed a top five which included Miami, Georgia, Baylor and Pittsburgh. He was a Baylor commit until June 7, and also picked up a scholarship offer from Tennessee last month.

Thornton becomes the fourth wide receiver in Florida’s class, and the second wideout commit in as many days.

He announced his decision Monday on Twitter.

Thornton, who currently measures 6-foot-3, 165 pounds, is currently rated the No. 117 wide receiver and No. 109 Florida recruit in the 2018 class on the 247Sports Composite. His highlights can be viewed below:
