For the second Florida game in a row, an elbow came in contact with a player’s head.

This time, however, it was a Gator that suffered the tough blow to the head.

During the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament against Virginia Tech, Florida guard Tyree Appleby was hit in the forehead with an elbow during the second half of the game.

While it’s impossible to tell intent from a clip, this one looked unintentional.

Appleby had to come out of the game and has yet to return. During the broadcast of the game, CBS reported Appleby was getting stitches for a laceration on his forehead.

Incredibly, Appleby has not yet been ruled out for the game.

If you missed it, here is a clip of the incident.
