It hasn’t been a good week for Kentucky basketball.

Earlier this week, Kentucky lost to unranked South Carolina 76-68, and Saturday night unranked Florida beat UK 66-64. After the loss, the Wildcats may fall out of the top 25. Florida improved to 14-5 overall and 6-1 in SEC play, while Kentucky fell to 14-5 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

The game ended in a scream of boos at Rupp Arena, as Florida’s Jalen Hudson appeared to foul Kentucky’s PJ Washington’s game-tying attempt. The officials didn’t blow the whistle, though. Kentucky then turned it over on a pass with two seconds left, and Florida escaped with the victory.

Here’s a replay of the no-call:

The Gators were aided by a late first-half run and an early second-half run, and Florida shot just 6-30 from three, good for just 20 percent.

Florida’s Jalen Hudson led all scorers with 17 points, and with the win, the Gators certainly took a big step forward as the second half of SEC play is ready to get underway.
