The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes are getting set to kick off the 2019 season next Saturday in Orlando.

However, it seems it won’t be the last time the two Florida teams meet in the near future, as they agreed to a home-and-home series on Saturday.

Per a report from Brett McMurphy, the Gators and Hurricanes will play a home-and-home series in 2024 and 2025, the first home-and-home between the two schools since 2002-03:

The game in 2024 will be held at The Swamp in Florida, with Miami hosting the second half of the series in 2025.

Will this become a regular series? Both the Hurricanes and Gators play Florida State every year, so it would be fun to see a consistent three-way series between the three Sunshine State Power 5 schools.
