Report: Former Florida DE Dante Fowler traded to LA Rams
The Jacksonville Jaguars have gotten off to a slow start after making it to the AFC Championship Game last season, and have been shopping former Florida DE Dante Fowler for a couple of weeks now.
On Tuesday, shortly before the NFL trade deadline, Fowler got a major upgrade, being sent out west to join a Super Bowl contender.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Los Angeles Rams are sending a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick to the Jags for Fowler:

Fowler has two sacks and a forced fumble in seven games this year. Now, he joins a Rams defense that includes linemen like Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh.
Will he play a key role moving forward? The Rams are making a big bet that he will.
