Todd Golden is bringing a familiar face to Gainesville. A former San Francisco combo guard will reunite with Golden at Florida.

Julian Rishwain, who is entering his 5th year of college basketball, announced Friday that he is transferring to UF to continue his career with the Gators.

Rishwain began his career at Boston College in the 2019-20 season. He made 30 appearances, primarily off the bench, before transferring to San Francisco. He spent the past 3 seasons with the Dons, playing for Golden and his staff in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.

In 2020-21, Rishwain was a bench contributor for San Francisco, averaging 7.9 points over 16.7 minutes per game in 23 contests. The following year, Rishwain made 34 appearances off the bench, averaging 7.4 points over 19.2 minutes.

For his career, Rishwain is a 39.7% shooter from the floor, including 36.3% from 3-point range. Rishwain made 43% of his 3-point attempts (55-of-128) in the 2021-22 season, but only 24.3% last season (18-of-74).
