The Miami Dolphins seem happy to enter the 2021 season with Tua Tagovailoa as their quarterback. Now, they’re going to try to build around him.

On Monday’s edition of NFL Live on ESPN, analyst Todd McShay said the Dolphins have 1 particular SEC player in mind who they want to draft.

Per McShay, the Dolphins want Kyle Pitts, the dynamic Florida tight end (via 247Sports):

“You’ve got Miami sitting there hoping that Atlanta takes a quarterback, and then (Penei Sewell) goes five to Cincinnati,” McShay said. “Because they want Kyle Pitts. But if it’s not Pitts, then it’s Ja’Marr Chase. And if it’s not Chase, then it’s going to be one of the two Alabama wide receivers being reunited with Tua Tagovailoa: DeVonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle.”

Many mock drafts have Pitts going to the Falcons at No. 4 overall, so we’ll see if he’s even on the board still when the Dolphins pick.

If not, it sounds like they’ll be happy to go with 1 of the wide receivers left on the board at No. 6 overall.
