Twice as nice: Florida lands 2nd commitment of day with pledge from Gainesville ATH, brother of current Gator WR
Florida is having a productive Saturday on the recruiting trail. Shortly after Billy Napier’s program landed a commitment from a 4-star in-state offensive lineman, Gainesville athlete Creed Whittemore announced his pledge to the hometown Gators.

Whittemore joins his older brother Trent Whittemore, who is entering his fourth season at Florida. Like Trent, Creed is out of Buchholz High School in Gainesville. On the 247Sports Composite, the younger Whittemore is rated 3-stars, the No. 33 ATH, No. 78 Florida product and No. 423 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023.
Whittemore has 18 scholarship offers, including Mississippi State and Texas A&M. Florida wide receivers coach Keary Colbert led the recruitment of Whittemore, who looks to be a wideout in college like his older brother.
