Urban Meyer’s firing from the Jacksonville Jaguars has football fans wondering what’s next for the 57-year-old coach with 3 national championship rings. Meyer did not reveal his future plans when asked by NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport in an exclusive interview.

“To be determined,” Meyer said when asked what he’ll do next, per Rapoport.

Meyer turned to broadcasting after his last 2 college jobs. Meyer stepped down at Florida after the 2010 season and became an ESPN analyst for the 2011 season. He only spent one season at ESPN as he returned to college football taking the Ohio State job ahead of the 2012 season.

Meyer coached Ohio State from 2012-18. After retiring from coaching again following the 2019 Rose Bowl, Meyer started working for FOX Sports as a college football analyst, appearing on the network’s “Big Noon Kickoff” pregame show.

Football fans everywhere will be interested to see what’s next for the coach with a 187-32 record in college football.
