WATCH: Emory Jones throws first touchdown pass as a Florida Gator
The Florida Gators managed to flip Ohio State commit Emory Jones just before the early signing period this year, giving new coach Dan Mullen a quarterback for his 2018 class.
On Saturday, Jones, along with Mullen, made his Florida debut. After a rocky start, Jones threw his first touchdown in a Gator uniform, hitting TE RJ Raymond.
As you can see in the video below, shared by @OnlyGators on Twitter, Raymond made an incredible play to stay on his feet and find the end zone:
Play of the spring! Emory Jones hits RJ Raymond, who keeps his feet and scores. Long TD pass by the freshman QB, great play by the veteran TE. #Gators pic.twitter.com/W1RD5HRvlK

Gator fans hope this is only the first of many touchdown passes for Jones, who has a chance to earn the starting job this fall.
However, Feleipe Franks also had a strong spring game, so Mullen will have a big decision to make before the 2018 season kicks off.
