WATCH: Tim Tebow launches opposite-field bomb for second home run
Tim Tebow hit his second double-A dinger Thursday night. This time, he went opposite field.
WBNG sports anchor/reporter Tyler Feldman recorded the blast and shared via his Twitter account. Feldman later tweeted that Tebow’s homer measured 348 feet, according to the PA announcer.
Tebow is currently with the Rumble Ponies, the New York Mets’ double-A affiliate based in Binghamton, New York. Tebow entered Thursday’s game hitting 16-for-70 for a batting average of .229 with a slugging percentage of .371. After taking part in spring training with the big-league club, many are watching to see how the organization deals with Tebow in his second season of minor-league ball.
