Former Florida TE Trey Burton got off to a slow start for the Chicago Bears this preseason, making only one catch for five yards in his new team’s first two preseason matchups.

However, in a 24-23 win over the Denver Broncos on Saturday night, Burton broke out in a big way, catching four passes for 45 yards and a touchdown.

As you can see in the video below, Burton scored his touchdown on a pass from QB Mitchell Trubisky on the first play in the second quarter:

After winning a Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles last season, Burton signed with the Bears for four years and $32 million this offseason, so he’ll be expected to produce.

He showed what he can do on Saturday, and now it’s up to the Bears to keep feeding the former Gator the ball.
