The Chicago Bears recently drafted former Georgia star LB Roquan Smith with the No. 8 overall pick.

Interestingly, another former Bulldogs star is getting a tryout with the Bears: QB Aaron Murray, according to the Chicago Sun Times. Murray spent last season in the broadcast booth with CBS Sports, but Chicago is bringing in Murray, along with 43 other players, for a three-day minicamp beginning Tuesday.

The Chiefs originally drafted Murray in the fifth-round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Once the Chiefs waived Murray in 2016, he bounced around with the Cardinals, Eagles and Rams. In three career seasons, Murray never recorded a stat in the NFL.

The former Bulldogs signal caller had a big-time career in Athens, throwing for over 13,000 yards, 121 TDs and 41 INTs during his four-year career.
