One of the nation’s top overall prospects is ready to end his college recruitment as North Gwinnett High School standout Barrett Carter plans to announce his commitment on Tuesday.

The four-star linebacker from Suwanee, Ga., announced his plans to commit live on FOX 5 News of Atlanta on May 19 at 6:50 p.m. ET. Carter has Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Clemson and Ohio State among his favorites.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Carter is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 4 outside linebacker in the nation, the No. 6 recruit from Georgia and a top 60 overall prospect nationally in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

During his sophomore and junior seasons, Carter has racked up 127 tackles, 12 sacks, 16 tackles for loss and an interception.
