Named as the starting quarterback earlier today, Georgia signal-caller Greyson Lambert is hoping to get his team a victory against a very dangerous and explosive North Carolina program.

Lambert likely won’t be asked to chuck the football 30+ times a game. Georgia can rely upon a very deep running back corps to control the clock and (in theory) not turn the ball over.

Should Lambert falter in any way, true freshman Jacob Eason will be eagerly waiting in the wings.

A transfer from Virginia, Lambert has faced UNC twice in his career during ACC play — losing both times. It’s been over a year since the Georgia signal-caller has faced the Tar Heels. He’ll also be playing under a different system, with a far more talented team than the one he had in Charlottesville.

With that said, one has to wonder whether the history between this quarterback and North Carolina will repeat itself.
