Cris Collinsworth: 'Don't be surprised' if Georgia player goes No. 1 in 2022 NFL Draft
Cris Collinsworth has been doing some preparation for the 2022 NFL Draft, and he has come away impressed with a member of Georgia’s defense.
That’s not surprising, as the Bulldogs only lost 1 game en route to a national championship in 2021, based largely on the strength of the defense.
On Monday, though, Collinsworth took to Twitter to say he wouldn’t be surprised if DL Travon Walker went to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 1 overall pick:
Don’t be surprised if Georgia’s Travon Walker is the first overall pick. I watched an extra hour of his tape just for fun. Nothing he can’t do.

Walker has risen as high as No. 2 in some mock drafts, but not many out there have him as No. 1.
The Jacksonville Jaguars hold that pick. Will they decide to take a chance on the standout Georgia defender who has seen his stock skyrocket in recent weeks?
