Dan Orlovsky has long been on the Matthew Stafford hype train, dating back to at least when he put on a Top Gun jacket nearly a month ago.

Now the ESPN analyst has doubled down on the Los Angeles Rams quarterback, and debuted a new T-shirt, which says “Matthew Freaking Stafford.”

“I honestly believe it’s one of, if not the most, clutch stretch of postseason performances by a QB ever,” Orlovsky said.

Orlovsky recalled that he went to Stafford’s wife, Kelly, and told her in a suite at the stadium with about 6 minutes to go that the comeback would happen.

“One drive for the Hall of Fame,” Orlovsky said.

He then turned to the Stafford haters, and noted the Rams’ 11 touchdowns scored this postseason by the offense. Stafford accounted for all 11, by way of 9 passing and 2 rushing. Stafford to Cooper Kupp in the fourth quarter was 12-for-12, 208 yards, 2 touchdowns and 9 first downs. Stafford himself in the fourth quarter this post season had 14 touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

Orlovsky then reiterated that he said a month ago that he would bet his life savings on with the game on the line.
