Swift, who now takes the field for the Chicago Bears, was originally selected by the Detroit Lions with the third pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He took the field for the Bulldogs between 2017 and 2019, finishing his final season with 196 carries for 1,218 yards and 7 touchdowns.
He ended out his college career in Athens with 440 carries, rushing for 2,885 yards with 2o touchdowns. He’ll certainly be looking on as the Bulldogs play in one of the most important games of the year, with the postseason now rolling in full swing.
One of the biggest storylines to watch in this one will be the head-to-head matchup between Carson Beck and Quinn Ewers, who came into the season hyped as two of the top QBs in college football.
Georgia and Texas are set to kick off at 4 p.m. ET in Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the College Football Playoff race wraps up, with final rankings revealed on Selection Sunday.
