Adjusting to life in the NFL can be a tough change for rookies. At least for a couple of Green Bay Packers, they’ll be able to adjust to life as a pro with some familiar faces.

During the 2021 NFL Draft, the Packers selected Georgia’s Eric Stokes to add to their defense. Then, in this year’s draft, Green Bay went back to the Bulldogs for a pair of defenders in LB Quay Walker and DL Devonte Wyatt.

For that trio of Bulldogs, playing together is a dream come true:

“We were just talking, man … talking about how amazing it is, how we’re all on the same team, how we’re all on the next level, how far we came,” Wyatt said per Mike Spofford with Packers.com. “Because about four years ago, we were like, ‘We wanna go first round. We wanna do this. We wanna play together.’ Just doing that now is just a dream come true.”

With the three now back together on the same defense, Walker admitted it’s “like old times” in Green Bay:

“Yeah, felt like old times,” Walker said. “Been a minute since all three of us got together.”

It will be interesting to see how all three fit into the plans of the Packers this season with a different colored “G” on the side of their helmets.
