September is officially in the rearview for Georgia. The Bulldogs finished the month 4-0 with wins over Vanderbilt, Murray State, Arkansas State and Notre Dame. Now, things get more interesting in October and on into November.

While October may be somewhat of a breeze for the Dawgs, November won’t be. In fact, it may be downright brutal. Florida, Missouri, Auburn, Texas A&M and Georgia Tech all come calling, with Auburn and Florida currently ranked in the top 10.

Georgia’s offense has been slow and steady this year, and its defense has been ever improving. Jake Fromm is starting to really improve his rapport with his play-making receivers, and the deep backfield is ready to step up when needed.

The Bulldogs’ toughest game remaining is the trip to Auburn on November 16. While many knew Auburn would be good this season, it has a chance to be great. The Tigers may boast the SEC’s top defense, and it’s ever-improving offense will give teams fits.

ESPN’s Football Power Index updated its game-by-game predictions after Week 5, and here’s what it says about October and November for the Bulldogs:

  • October 5 at Tennessee: 91.3 percent win probability
  • October 12 vs. South Carolina: 88.3 percent
  • October 19 vs. Kentucky: 94 percent
  • November 2 vs. Florida (neutral site): 68.2 percent
  • November 9 vs. Missouri: 84.9 percent
  • November 16 at Auburn: 46.4 percent
  • November 23 vs. Texas A&M: 85 percent
  • November 30 at Georgia Tech: 98.4 percent

If ESPN’s FPI proves to be right, UGA will finish the regular season 11-1 with a loss to Auburn. The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is setting up to be a massive showdown.
