The Georgia Bulldogs have emerged as one of the nation’s top teams this year, Kirby Smart’s second at the helm of the program.

After three-straight lopsided SEC victories, many have the Bulldogs in the hunt for a College Football Playoff spot.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Bulldogs make a run at an undefeated regular season, but as we saw with Oklahoma this week, it’s unwise to overlook any opponent.

ESPN’s FPI says the Bulldogs should watch out for a road game against Auburn in Week 11, but other than that, thinks Smart’s squad should win every other game they play. Here are the Bulldogs’ projected win percentages via FPI:

  • vs. Mizzou — 97.3 percent
  • vs. Florida — 81.7 percent
  • vs. South Carolina — 88.2 percent
  • at Auburn — 45.8 percent
  • vs. Kentucky — 93.1 percent
  • at Georgia Tech — 73.7 percent

Both Georgia and Alabama have to travel to Auburn this year, so the Tigers could be a huge spoiler as they try to make a case for CFP inclusion themselves.

There’s still a long way to go this season, but the Bulldogs are certainly looking like one of the top teams in the SEC. If they can make it all the way to Atlanta, it could be an exciting year for Smart and his team.
