Georgia QB Jake Fromm enters the 2019 season as one of the best quarterbacks in college football.

If he declares early for the 2020 NFL Draft, he’ll probably be a first-round pick and one of the first quarterbacks off the board. So, what can we expect from him in the pro ranks.

Well, it doesn’t seem that ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has any idea yet. On NFL Live on Wednesday, Kiper compared Fromm to two quarterbacks with highly different levels of success:

“He’s somewhere between Drew Brees and Andy Dalton,” Kiper said.

Well then. That range (from one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history to an average-at-best NFL quarterback) includes at least 70 percent of all players ever to play the position.

A couple of fans noted that on Twitter, too:

On the bright side, at least Kiper will probably be right about this prediction.
