A little over a month after decommitting from UGA, an offensive lineman out of North Carolina appears to still have Georgia on his mind.

West Forsyth High OL Jared Wilson shared his top eight teams on Sunday via his Twitter account. Auburn, Florida, LSU and Arkansas are the other SEC teams to join the Bulldogs. The 3-star prospect is also looking at three ACC teams: Clemson, Florida State and North Carolina.

Wilson originally pledged to Georgia on Nov. 7, 2019. Former UGA offensive line coach Sam Pittman did not wait for Wilson to decommit from the Dawgs to extend an Arkansas scholarship offer (Dec. 29, 2019). Wilson collected offers from FSU (Jan. 10) and UNC (Jan. 25) before backing off his pledge to the Bulldogs on Feb. 6, 2020. Before the coronavirus outbreak effectively shut down college football recruiting, Wilson made a recent trip to the Sunshine State, visiting Florida on March 7 and Florida State on March 8.

Wilson is listed at 6-4, 325 pounds and rated the No. 21 offensive guard, No. 22 North Carolina product and No. 383 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. The top 8 teams make up the bulk of Wilson’s 13 scholarship offers. South Carolina is the only SEC program to have offered and not make the top eight.
