ESPN's FPI rankings predict huge year for Georgia following 3-0 start
The Georgia Bulldogs are 3-0 and already have a win at South Carolina under their belts, so things are going pretty well in their followup to a season in which they nearly won the national title.
Some tough challenges still await this season, but ESPN’s FPI projections predict a special year for the Dawgs.
As you can see below, the rankings give Georgia at least an 80-percent chance to win in every game except a Week 7 trip to LSU, when the Dawgs only have a 74.5-percent chance to win:
- at Mizzou — 81.8%
- vs. Tennessee — 96.9%
- vs. Vanderbilt — 94.7%
- at LSU — 74.5%
- vs. Florida — 86.5%
- at Kentucky — 90.3%
- vs. Auburn — 80.0%
- vs. UMass — 99.4%
- vs. Georgia Tech — 94.2%
The Bulldogs can’t get caught looking ahead, as there are still a few tough games remaining. However, if they take care of business, they should easily return to Atlanta with a chance at defending their SEC title.
