Stetson Bennett had a remarkable showing on Saturday afternoon — matching a Georgia record with 5 touchdown passes, all coming in the first half — but make no mistakes about it: JT Daniels is still the Bulldogs’ starting quarterback when he’s healthy.

Bennett may have impressed against UAB, but he had an opportunity to start against tougher opponents in 2020, and he did not put up these types of numbers. Meanwhile, Daniels not only played well in late 2020, but he led Georgia to a win over Clemson in Week 1 this season.
