Georgia got some big news on Sunday. 4-star DE Elijah Jeudy is the newest member of UGA’s 2021 recruiting class.

Jeudy shared his announcement live on multiple social media platforms (Twitter and Instagram). The Philadelphia native measures 6-3, 246 pounds and is rated 4-stars, the No. 8 Pennsylvania product, No. 12 weak-side defensive end and No. 167 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. Jeudy, who says his recruitment is now over, collected 27 scholarship offers. LSU, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas A&M were also finalists.

“I feel as though that is the best fit for me just for the simple fact that I feel that I can fit in. I have a good relationship with the coaches,” Jeudy told Brian Dohn of 247Sports. “I feel as though being coached under coach Kirby Smart – he gives that extra push, he will push the players when they need that little extra – he can help me work on stuff that I need to work on.

“I feel as though the school can help improve more as a person also and not just on the field.”

Jeudy is pledge No. 7 for the Bulldogs’ 2021 recruiting class. The class is currently ranked No. 2 in the SEC, behind Florida, and No. 14 nationally at this point in the 2021 recruiting cycle.
