Georgia added a major piece to its 2024 recruiting class on Tuesday morning.

The Bulldogs picked up a commitment from 3-star offensive tackle Marcus Harrison. The 6-foot-8 prospect chose the Bulldogs over programs such as Wisconsin, Michigan State and Miami, amongst others.

Here his announcement:

Harrison is a major addition for the Bulldogs’ offense. He’s currently ranked as the No. 606 overall player and the No. 48 offensive tackle in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 3 player from the state of New York.

He attends St. Francis High School in Hamburg, New York. He’s listed at 6-foot-8, 295 pounds.

Harrison’s massive frame should allow him to grow into a potential difference-maker on the offensive line. Despite being a 3-star prospect, Harrison’s recruitment has exploded in recent weeks. He has picked up offers from numerous Power 5 programs since the beginning of spring, including Georgia. The Bulldogs initially offered him a scholarship back in April.

Georgia now has 15 commitments in the class of 2024. The group ranks No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
