Georgia losing 2 former 5-star offensive linemen to NCAA transfer portal, per report
Georgia has recruited at a high level under Kirby Smart the past few years, leading to a national championship in 2021.
Still, it hurts to lose 2 former 5-star recruits, especially when those 2 players both are offensive linemen.
But, that’s what happened on Sunday, according to reports by Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports. Zenitz tweeted that former 5-star center Clay Webb and former 5-star tackle Amarius Mims had both entered their names in the transfer portal:
Georgia offensive lineman Clay Webb has also entered the transfer portal, @on3sports has learned.

Webb was the No. 26 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class, per the 247Sports composite rankings. Those same rankings had Mims as the No. 8 overall player in the 2021 recruiting class.
Where both of those talented linemen end up next remains to be seen, but it appears their time in Athens is coming to an end.
