Georgia is 3-0 and the No. 2 team in the country, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. That’s unlikely to change Saturday, when the Bulldogs go on the road to face struggling Vanderbilt.

Through the first 3 weeks, Georgia has been dominant. After a huge win over Clemson in Week 1, it’s followed that up with victories over UAB and South Carolina. And during that stretch, the Bulldogs have had only 23 points scored against them.

So the Commodores may be in some trouble, considering they’re 1-2 and coming off a loss to Stanford. Before that, they lost to East Tennessee State and beat Colorado State. Georgia will easily be Vandy’s most challenging opponent yet.

On Friday, the Bulldogs announced that their captains for this matchup will be senior punter Jake Camarda, junior tight end John FitzPatrick and junior linebacker Nolan Smith:

The Bulldogs have won each of the past 3 years against the Commodores. And dating back to 1995, Vanderbilt has only defeated Georgia 3 times in 25 meetings.

Georgia and Vanderbilt are set to kick off on Saturday at noon ET on SEC Network.
