Georgia sophomore quarterback Jacob Eason returned to the practice field on Monday.

He was in uniform and throwing footballs during the Bulldogs’ practice, according to Seth Emerson of DawgNation.

It remains to be seen how close Eason is to being ready for in-game action. He was reportedly seen wearing a left knee brace. Eason sprained a ligament in his left knee in the Bulldogs’ season opener against Appalachian State on Sept. 2.

Apparently Monday’s media viewing period only lasted for a few minutes, but that was long enough for reporters to notice Eason was practicing.

Head coach Kirby Smart has not indicated when Eason will be able to officially return to the field on Saturdays.

Smart noted earlier in the day that Eason has continued to progress with his rehab, according to The Telegraph. He was seen jogging at practice.

The unbeaten Bulldogs will host 3-0 Mississippi State on Saturday.
