With the 2020 NFL Draft just around the corner, one name to watch in the first round will be Georgia RB D’Andre Swift.

Swift is often considered the best back in the 2020 draft class, so we’ll see if he does indeed go in Round 1 on Thursday, April 23.

On Wednesday, Swift joined ESPN’s Maria Taylor and discussed what makes him stick out among other top runners:

“I would say my versatility,” Swift said. “Just being able to do various amounts of things, whether it’s running inside, outside, picking up blocks, getting spread out to the slot, creating mismatches for the defense. Having the success I had in the SEC helped a lot as well.”

Is he the best running back in the draft class? Taylor asked him that, and Swift said he isn’t betting against himself:

“There’s a lot of great running backs in the draft, but I always bet on myself,” he said.

Swift is projected to go in Round 1 later this month. We’ll see which team takes him.
