Could the Bulldogs lure another recruit to Athens?

Georgia is on a roll this season and has shown no signs of slowing down. The Bulldogs remain undefeated and will find out on Tuesday if they did enough to hold on to the No. 1 ranking in the College Football Playoff Top 25.

Fans are excited about the product on the field thanks to star RBs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, true freshman QB Jake Fromm, and a strong defense under head coach Kirby Smart. The Bulldogs have already secured the SEC East, but their focus is on a much larger prize this season as a trip to the Playoff gets closer every week.

This season is in for one heck of a finish for, but the progress made by Smart and his staff in recruiting is outstanding. The Bulldogs boast a strong class for next season with four of the nation’s top 50 players already committed, but it could get even stronger.

Otis Reese is a four-star OLB from Leesburg, Georgia that may be on the move. Reese is ranked by 247 Sports as the eighth overall OLB and the 17th player from Georgia for 2018. Reese committed to Michigan in June, 2016. He is currently the Wolverines third ranked recruit, but it will be interesting to see if he maintains that commitment.

Reese has made three unofficial visits to Georgia this season, including this past Saturday when South Carolia came to Athens, and his Crystal Ball is showing a strong trend towards the Bulldogs. He currently remains committed to Michigan, but Bulldogs fans would love to flip his commitment and pair him up alongside incoming OLB Adam Anderson.
